Call for Submissions: Research Project Leaders for Renewal Application

The Miriam Hospital’s Center of Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE) for Stress, Trauma, and Resilience (STAR), directed by Drs. Laura Stroud and Audrey Tyrka is seeking potential Research Project Leaders to join our collaborative team. Our Phase 2 COBRE application will be submitted to NIGMS on May 28, 2025, and we seek Project Leaders to join our renewal application. Project Leaders will receive funding (including 50% salary support) for three years and will be supported by our collaborative STAR community and a rich array of STAR COBRE resources to accelerate their career development and to support their projects. Applicants must have a faculty (Assistant Professor or Research Scientist) appointment at the time of COBRE submission. Applicants based at The Miriam Hospital will receive priority consideration but investigators from other hospitals or universities in Rhode Island are also eligible.

Applications are due November 1, 2024 by 5:00pm ET
