Dr. KayLoni Olson is an Assistant Professor at the Weight Control and Diabetes Research Center of The Miriam Hospital and at the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at the Alpert Brown Medical School. She earned her doctoral degree at Ohio State University and completed her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral training at the Alpert Brown Medical School. 

As a clinical health psychologist, Dr. Olson is interested in researching weight-related health with an emphasis on behavioral interventions to promote well-being among individuals of higher body weight. Her previous work has investigated body image, weight-related stigma, and using translational models (ORBIT) to guide adaptation of evidence-based treatments.
