Dr. Ayala is an attending physician and Medical Director of the Antenatal Care Unit at Women and Infants Hospital and an Assistant Professor in the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Brown University. She attended medical school at Alpert Medical School of Brown University and completed residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Northwestern University and a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Women and Infants Hospital/Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She earned a Masters of Clinical and Translational Research through the Brown School of Public Health. Dr. Ayala’s research and clinical expertise focuses on leveraging interventions to alter resilience to improve perinatal mental health and patient-reported outcomes.
